The Sage and Clover is more than an Organic whole foods shop. Founder Bettina la Cour Lynn, wants to feel connected to her customers and her beautiful team are dedicated to do the same.
We have created a place where you can buy Organic and Local food while connecting with others. A health and wellness hub where you can learn about healthy food, life style, share ideas, knowledge and thoughts with others. We are proud to say that that is exactly what The Sage and Clover is.
We love the positive energy that our beautiful customers and our own Team fill our shop with everyday, bringing light and joy to our small country town.

The counter
Everybody has a story and so does our beautiful counter at The Sage and Clover.
The bench top is from the old slab cottage on our farm Cherry Tree Hill. Local builder Ben Perkins brought life back into this very old timber and the connection between the farm and The Sage and Clover was made instantly. You are able to see the other part of the cottage at Glen Innes History House museum.
The counter is the original TAB counter so all together there are tons of memories and stories held in this beautiful recycled piece.
The wreath
The wreath is very special to me, designed and made by my talented neice Pip. This amazing masterpiece found its way into The Sage and Clover the day before we opened. I had asked Pip if she would like to help me decorate the window for our opening in December 2016. Little did I know that she would bring this beautiful wreath which now has become an icon of our shop.
Made from the vines from the local vineyard Wright Robinson which unfortunately burned down, this makes it a priceless piece of art.
It hangs softly on the wall behind the counter and symbolises the full circle which Bettina feels she has completed by opening The Sage and Clover.
The logo
The logo represents the heart of The Sage and Clover. Designing it brings all my values and beliefs together into the creation of this beautiful piece of art made by Reindeer Riot.
The circle is to symbolise the circle of life, however kept open at the top– leaving room for continuous development and improvement.
The sage goes back to my many holidays in France with my family in the 1970's. I love the colour and the texture of the leaf.
The clover comes from our farm, Cherry Tree Hill and many family memories from Denmark searching for that four leaf clover.
The clover also connects with My Danish Nurses association as it features on my emblem.
